Fujifilm launches analogue instant camera "instax mini 41™"

Level up your photos and your style with the new mini 41

Sydney, 8 April 2025 – FUJIFILM Australia announces the launch of “instax mini 41™” (mini 41), a new entry model in the instax series of instant cameras that allows users to enjoy on-the-spot photo printing. It will be available in Australia on 17 April, 2025.

The mini 41 is an analogue instant camera that enhances the design and features of the popular “instax mini 40™” (mini 40), known for its classic camera design that appeals to a wide range of users. While maintaining the mini 40's classic design, the mini 41 incorporates a sleek and stylish look with black and dark-toned silver accented with orange.

The mini 41 features a "Close-up Mode" that prevents discrepancies between the viewfinder field and the actual printout area in close-ups. With enhanced "Automatic Light Adjustment", the mini 41 automatically determines the correct exposure for a given scene, ensuring the best brightness for each shooting scene. These functions make it easy for anyone to capture beautifully clear and well-composed shots.

Mary Georgievski, General Manager Photographic Imaging, Fujifilm Australia said: ”we’re so excited by the mini 41 and the way it evolves the instax family. The mini 40 has always been a cornerstone of the instax lineup, and the mini 41 is all that with the latest instax technology. The mini 41 is proof that big things come in small packages.”

Coinciding with the launch of the mini 41, Fujifilm is releasing a colour-matched camera case.

Fujifilm will continue to expand the world of the “instax™” instant photo system that allows people to enjoy on-the-spot photo printing.

(1) Fashionable classic design

Featuring a stylish classic design with black and dark-toned silver as the base colours and an orange accent, mini 41 offers high fashion appeal. (2) “Automatic Light Adjustment”  for attaining optimum exposure settings for any scenes

The “Automatic Light Adjustment” function automatically senses the ambient light level when the shutter button is pressed and optimises the shutter speed and flash output according to given conditions. The camera can take photos optimally exposed to the main subject and the background in various situations including bright outdoors, low-light indoors, close-ups and selfies.

(3) “Close-up mode” for enjoying close-up shots and selfies easily

Rotating the lens, one step activates the “Close-up mode,” perfect for close-up shots and selfies. The quick access to this function ensures that users never miss a shutter chance.

The mini 41 features adjusting the viewfinder field of view to match the actual printout area in close-up shots (parallax adjustment). Users can easily enjoy close-up shots without having to shift the centre point seen through the viewfinder.

When taking a selfie, the “Selfie Mirror” beside the lens can be used to check the composition of a finished print while shooting.
