MELBOURNE, 25 February, 2026: Fujifilm House of Photography is coming to Melbourne for the first time, opening an interactive pop-up at Chadstone Shopping Centre from Tuesday, 3rd to Sunday, 22nd March. Located on the centre’s lower ground level in front of David Jones, the space invites visitors to explore, trial and learn more about Fujifilm’s portfolio of imaging products and services.
An interactive hub designed to inspire and encourage professional and enthusiast creators alike, the space immerses visitors in the world of visual storytelling - from content taking to content making. The site features the full range of Fujifilm X | GFX Series cameras, FUJINON XF and GF lenses, instax devices, and printing services at the dedicated print bar. Plus, there are interactive play tables featuring Fujifilm’s latest product ranges, and a film simulation wall showcasing Fujifilm’s signature looks.
To celebrate its debut in Australia’s undisputed fashion capital, for one day only on Saturday 14th March, the Fujifilm House of Photography will host a series of complimentary ‘Shoot Your Style’ sessions led by local fashion photographer Danielle Castano.
Designed to help stylish shoppers capture their OOTDs (outfits of the day) with confidence and creativity, the sessions invite pairs of fashion-loving locals to book in for a personalised experience in a stylish photo booth featuring illustrations by renowned fashion illustrator Megan Hess.
Participants will receive hands-on guidance on angles, lighting, framing and composition before putting their skills to the test with Fujifilm cameras, working with Castano to select the best film simulations for their personal style. Guests will also receive printed and digital copies of their images for future inspiration and social sharing.
FUJIFILM Australia will also be rewarding visitors who share their experience at the pop-up on Instagram. First prize includes a $1,500 Fujifilm House of Photography gift card and two tickets to Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm X | GFX, coming to Melbourne for the first time in May 2026.
Shaun Mah, General Manager - Electronic Imaging & Optical Devices Divisions at FUJIFILM Australia, said:
“Fujifilm House of Photography in Sydney showed us how engaging a physical space dedicated to creativity can be. The response from photographers, videographers, and content creators has exceeded our expectations. Melbourne is one of Australia’s most influential creative hubs, home to a vibrant creative community. Bringing our Fujifilm House of Photography brand experience to Melbourne is our way of meeting creators where they are - celebrating how they see the world, create and tell their stories.”
“Whether you’re shooting, creating, printing, or just looking for a new perspective, this space is for you, covering everything from content taking to content making.”
Facilitating the ‘Shoot Your Style’ sessions, fashion photographer Danielle Castano, added:
“I’m so excited to be partnering with FUJIFILM Australia on ‘Shoot Your Style’. Great style photography isn’t about posing; it’s about capturing how someone actually sees themselves. These sessions are about helping people translate their fashion identity into images that feel confident, intentional and true to them.”
