Fujifilm has recently discovered vulnerability related to the administrator password of FRONTIER DX400W sold in certain countries.
For security reasons, we recommend changing from the default administrator password when connecting this printer to a network.
The default administrator username is either left blank or set to admin. The default password is the printer’s serial number, which can be found on the rear of the printer.

  • Example: 6611Exxxx
  • Note: the password is case-sensitive

The method you can use to change the administrator password is explained below:

Using the printer's control panel
  1. From the home screen on the printer’s control panel, select Settings
  2. Navigate to Security Setting > Admin Settings > Admin Password > Change
  3. Enter the current password and select OK
    1. The default password is the printer’s serial number
    2. The password is case-sensitive
  4. Now enter your new password and select OK
  5. Enter your new password again to confirm it
  • * Note: If you forget your password, you can reset the password to default by restoring all settings to default from the control panel; please refer to the User Manual for further details
