FUJIFILM Business Innovation Introduces DocuWorks Cloud - Driving Collaboration in Today’s Distributed Workforce
A new cloud platform that simplifies creating, editing and sharing of files across teams simultaneously, boosting collaboration and productivity with automated workflows.
AUSTRALIA, 28 March, 2022 — FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia today launched DocuWorks Cloud, a new cloud service developed off the back of the document handling software, DocuWorks, with over eight million licenses sold internationally.
Designed to meet the evolving workstyles of the new distributed workforce DocuWorks Cloud removes device, distance and time as barriers to collaborative working. No longer is a team member tied to a computer to be able to access, view and edit files – they can do this from anywhere on any device at any time with DocuWorks Cloud.
Providing a cloud-based document management solution and workspace helps accelerate an organisation’s digital transformation (DX) and allow for teams to seamless and simultaneously create, view, edit and share files. Team members can work on-the-go and simultaneously on projects in real time, reducing the fatiguing reliance on print and email communications.
The latest update includes enhanced connectivity with popular cloud storage services OneDrive and Box, as well as the introduction of MFD linkage functions. With the new OneDrive and Box integration, DocuWorks Cloud users can seamlessly access, upload, and share documents stored in these cloud services directly from within the platform.
In addition to cloud storage integration, DocuWorks Cloud now offers MFD (multi-functional device) linkage functions. This enables users to print, scan, and fax documents directly from MFDs, with all documents automatically saved to the DocuWorks Cloud platform. This feature saves time, effort and helps to ensure that all documents are securely stored and easily accessible.
A much-needed digital solution to help businesses thrive in today’s new work styles that’s also scalable for the future of work.
“In 2023 it does not matter where you are working or from what device, you just need the right cloud-based solution to let you access your work environment and collaborate with your colleagues and, that is exactly what DocuWorks Cloud does” says Ashish Gulati, Senior Manager EDS Solutions Marketing at FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia (FBAU).
DocuWorks Cloud delivers a seamless experience whether you are on a computer via a browser or mobile through the DocuWorks Cloud app. Team members are able to stay on track with their projects with push notifications which helps improve review and processing time preventing project lag.
The Private Folder and Tray in DocuWorks Cloud allows teams to set up access lists to make sure the right people can collaborate effectively. And with the added benefit of being able to attach notes and messages to files, team members won’t need to jump between email and the workspace.
DocuWorks Cloud automatically manages version control and team members can roll back to any previous version at any time. DocuWorks Cloud records and stores every iteration and interaction with a file for a secure and complete audit trail.
With more and more sophisticated cyber-attacks, security is a big concern for organisations. DocuWorks Cloud has been designed with end-to-end security and data encryption so that businesses can work collaboratively and safely, without compromise to confidential data.
