Seven-Eleven Multi-Copiers /About Scanning (Android)

This page explains how to scan data with the machine and send them to your Android device.

1. On your Android device

Launch the "Multicopy" application.

2. On your Android device

Tap [Scan]. [screenshot]

3. On your Android device

Checked the available storage size in your Android device, and tap [Connect].

  • ※You can save the scanned data on your external SD card. Tap [Settings] on the service selection top screen to change the setting.

4.On the machine

Hold QR code close to the reading device of machine.

5. On your Android device

Tap [Connect] when an instruction is displayed on the touch screen of the machine.

6. On the machine

Scan documents as instructed on the touch screen of the machine after connecting with Multicopy Machine.

  • ※Be sure that the total size of the scanned documents does not exceed the storable size in your Android device that you checked in step 3.

The steps to scan documents are now complete.
If you need to edit the scanned data, see Reference 1.

Reference 1

Select the scanned data, and then perform one of the following.

  • ※If you delete the "Multicopy" application, then the scanned data will be deleted as well.

If you try to delete the scanned file

Tap the file you want to delete. (You can select multiple files at once.)
Tap [Delete] icon after selecting. [screenshot]

If you try to display the scanned file with another application

Tap the file you want to display by external applications.
Tap [Open by an application] icon after selecting. [screenshot]

Tap the application you want to open from the application list.
  • ※Application will be displayed only when the application corresponds to the file extension.
  • ※If there is only one installed application that can open the selected file, the selecting screen will not appear.

If you try to send the scanned files by email

Tap the file you want to send. (You can select multiple files at once.)
Tap [Send by e-mail] icon after selecting. [screenshot]

Tap the message sending application you used from the application list.
