Training resources:
  • PowerPoint slideshow
  • Practical application to real or simulated situations
  • Specific equipment:  Radiology table
  • Training supervision: provided by the training manager
  • Instructor: Application engineer, trainer and employee of FUJIFILM Healthcare France SAS
Assessment methods :
  • Initial assessment: test or role-play to assess each trainee's skills and weaknesses.
  • Ongoing assessment of progress (during application exercises): checks on acquisition of the concepts studied and ability to apply them, identification of areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge test at the end of the course.
  • End-of-training certificate issued.
Teaching methods:
  • Theoretical and methodological contributions, with real-life examples illustrating the application of the concepts covered.
  • Individual application of the training with case studies of mammography examinations
  • Case studies, role-playing scenarios: interactive analysis, identification of good/bad approaches and corrections.

DAY 1

  • Round-table discussion of practices and difficulties encountered

  • 1st survey  : identification of training needs
  • Analysis and answers to the survey

10h30 - 12h30

  • Introduction to “X-ray table from theory to practice”
    Description of the desk, table controls and accessories
  • Switching on & off and startup the machine

14h00 - 17h30

  • Exam procedure (welcome, management of exposure menus, etc.)
  • Daily inspection of the X-ray table
  • Introduction to the daily procedure for X-ray tube preheating
  • Dose management (X-ray constants, additional filtration, diaphragms, etc.)
  • Hands-on patient start-up, basic examinations

 

DAY 2

9h00 - 12h30

  • Tools for managing image quality
  • Tools for managing images, patient records and printing
  • Talk about setting up 100% printing
  • Overview of suspended and “live” examinations, use in automatic and downgraded mode (station selection)

14h00 - 17h30

  • Hands-on practice on patients, all types of examination except specific examinations
  • Feedback and optimization of settings according to requirements
