From February 24 to April 27, 2025, the FUJIFILM Projector Z Series was used to create an immersive space at the media art exhibition held at the Sejong Center in Seoul.
The exhibition Mium Wanbo: Walking in Traditional Gardens was held at the Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul.
This immersive media art show harnessed digital technology to reimagine the beauty of Korean traditional gardens for contemporary audiences.
Using precise measurement data provided by the National Heritage Agency, the digital artwork offered visitors the sensation of strolling through authentic garden landscapes.
The exhibition space incorporated 3D scans and projection mapping to vividly depict royal gardens and historic sites—bringing structures, tranquil ponds, and swaying trees to life.
Visitors were invited to do more than simply observe—they walked slowly and lingered within the digital gardens, fully immersing themselves in traditional aesthetics.
The title Mium Wanbo translates to “to walk slowly and recite quietly,” reflecting the exhibition’s intent to offer a peaceful, contemplative experience for today’s fast-paced world.
By blending digital art with cultural heritage, the exhibition introduced a new way to engage with these timeless spaces.

To create an immersive experience where visitors could leisurely explore a digital traditionalgarden, it was essential to deliver clear, vivid imagery regardless of spatial constraints.
We selected FUJIFILM’s FP-Z8000 ultra-short-throw projector for its versatile installation optionsand exceptional image quality.
A total of 13 FP-Z8000 projectors were deployed, with 1 to 7 units used in each exhibition zone.
Thanks to its flexible lens movement—up, down, left, and right—the FP-Z8000 can project onto ceilings, floors, or walls from various angles, making it perfectly suited for complex exhibition layouts.
Moreover, its ability to produce large-scale images from a short distance allowed visitors to move freely, enhancing the natural and immersive atmosphere.
The projector’s vibrant colorsand sharp contrast effectively conveyed the delicate hues and textures of traditional gardens.

The installation of FP-Z8000 projectors enabled us to vividly express seasonal colors and intricate garden details, even within compact or unconventional spaces.
The projectors captured the texture of wood, the gentle movement of pond water, and the subtle sway of trees with remarkable realism—making visitors feel as though they were truly inside a traditional garden.
As a result, the experience went beyond visual and auditory appreciation.
Visitors felt transported, as if walking through a garden from a bygone era.
This emotional resonance contributed significantly to the success of the event.
Because of this, visitors enjoyed more than just looking and listening—they felt like they were walking through a garden from the past.
This made our event a big success.
