TOKYO, March 18, 2026 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) has developed the broadcast zoom lens “FUJINON UA30x7.3BERD” (hereafter “UA30x7.3”), which delivers the best-in-class 30x zoom range1 covering 7.3-219mm and “FUJINON UA16x4BERD” (hereafter “UA16x4”), which delivers a class-leading*2 wide-angle range of 4-64mm while also achieving best-in-class2 16x zoom range.
These newly developed lenses each cover a wide range of focal lengths in a single unit, providing a reliable option for capturing moments with intentional creative composition in a variety of settings such as sports, live events, or studio production.
The “UA30x7.3” and “UA16x4” are due to be released in Spring of 2027. Fujifilm plans to showcase these lenses at the “NAB Show 2026”, the world’s largest international broadcast equipment trade show, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from April 19-22, 2026.

In sports broadcasting, these lenses allow for a variety of framing composition, from a wide angle capturing an entire stadium, to powerful zoom-in shots, and close-ups in post-game interviews, these lenses enable flexible image creation to help creatives achieve their vision. These lenses are great for a variety of genres, including live concert broadcasts, studio production, and remote news coverage.
