Fujifilm’s latest Triple Noise Reduction synergizes proprietary noise reduction technologies from three core imaging modalities from X-ray, Ultrasound and conventional Endoscopy noise reduction technology.

Fujifilm’s dimming and tone control technology ‘Extended Dynamic Range’ dynamically adjusts the brightness of the near and far field and reduces halation in the near field. This results in an overall bright and detailed video image.

Achieving improved diagnostic and therapeutic results in endoscopic procedures is highly dependent on image quality. As one of the world's largest imaging companies, our long-standing experience in medical imaging has allowed Fujifilm’s engineers to develop Multi Light Technology, fulfilling the need for the improved visualization in endoscopy- today in the future. This illumination system is enable to use the observation modes LCI,BLI, and ACI. Specifically designed for this illumination. 700 and 800 system endoscopes provides detailed high-resolution imaging for both diagnosis and pre-therapeutic assessment.
Specific light spectrum settings targeting the mucosal layers result in improved contrast and higher definition of imaging.

For xenon lamps, replacement every 500 hours is recommended. If the endoscope is used for approximately 1,000 hours per year, 12 lamps will need to be replaced in 6 years. While LED lamps have longer durability with lower energy consumption, resulting in a better cost-efficiency.

White light Imaging


High-intensity contrast imaging with BLI is expected to be helpful for improved visualization of superficial vascular and mucosal patterns. Focusing on the characteristics of short wavelength absorption of hemoglobin (at 410 nm) combined with specific white light spectral colors results in improved contrast imaging.


LCI differentiates the red color spectrum more effectively than White Light Imaging thanks to its preprocess composition of light spectrum and Fujifilm’s original signal processing. The increased color contrast in red color leads to improved visibility of abnormalities, inflammation and delineation.
ACI is an observation mode that combines LCI color enhancement technology with brightness enhancement technology. LCI employs short-wavelength light to emphasize mucosal surface, whereas ACI employs long-wavelength light to emphasize more deeper information. It is developed with intention which improving the visualization of slight difference of blood color (e.g., localization of bleeding source).

LCI employs a red color tone as a reference that is close to the mucous membrane, whereas ACI references red color tones similar to blood. In both light modes the contrast of red color tones is increased in a post-processing step.
ACI is emphasize the difference in color shade by adjusting the brightness. This further enhances the contrast of the red color tones close to blood.
With a simple push of a button, you can easily switch between the following observation modes. The order and settings can be changed as desired.
