ApeosPro for Photo is engineered to produce superb, high quality photographic prints, on a wide range of substrates, and for a broad range of creative applications. Designed for photo labs and other photo printing specialists, the printer gives businesses the ability to add value to customers through the production of high quality customised and personalised printed products. With ultra fine toner and firmware fine-tuned for photographic production, ApeosPro for Photo achieves optimum print quality for photo applications through special image enhancing processing that smoothly reproduces the most challenging of colours, such as blue skies and skin tones, and also achieves vibrant colours and smooth gradation. The high image quality of ApeosPro for Photo is comparable to high-end production printers and the fine detail it achieves also makes it ideal for the reproduction of fine lines and tiny text.
Supporting a range of media (from lightweight paper, to cardstock, to embossed) the printer allows production of multiple applications, from photo albums and photo prints, to calendars, catalogues and flyers. It also accomodates a wide range of paper sizes, from 100mm x 148mm, to long media up to 330mm x 1300mm
Accurate feeding of paper stock is assured through auto adjusting of the force applied according to paper thickness. This ensures a stable feed, even with cardstock, and high registration accuracy is consistently achieved. Speedy calibration through an in-built scanner contributes not only to maintaining print quality but also to improving the operating rate of the output. Meanwhile smart registration control enables the tight front-to-back registration required in duplex jobs even when feeding paper at high speed.
The range includes three models: ApeosPro C650 for low production needs, printing at 65 sheets per minute; ApeosPro C750, which operates at 75 sheets per minute, and the high performance ApeosPro C810 which prints 81 sheets per minute.
