Fujifilm showcased the Image Processing System “IS-100” (introduced as “CCBOXX” in the U.S.) and the “IS-mini” along with new concepts and proposals at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE) 2013 in Japan

Fujifilm showcased the Image Processing System “IS-100” (introduced as “CCBOXX” in the U.S.) and the “IS-mini” with new concepts and proposals at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE) 2013, one of the biggest exhibitions for audio, video, and communication for professionals in Japan. “Color Creative Technology that Revolutionizes Image Creators” is the new concept of IS-100 and IS-mini, and Fujifilm made proposals aimed at image creators of the 3 production segments, movies, TV commercials and drama, that place great emphasis on rendering and color management. In addition to the demonstration of basic features of IS-100 and IS-mini, Fujifilm also announced the new feature “Film Look Simulation” that was actually adopted for the Japanese movie project “The Kiyosu Conference” (Japanese title: Kiyosu-Kaigi, release on November 2013, Japan). The Film Look Simulation function reproduces the look of color negative motion picture films. Commencing with the Eterna Series, Fujifilm offers 15 different color tones and its simple operation allows better creative digital image expression.

In an interview with the cinematographer of “The Kiyosu Conference”, Mr. Hideo Yamamoto, he said “IS-100/IS-mini made it possible to absorb the DNA of negative film in digital shooting. It is a tool to touch people’s senses and successfully facilitated our building the world of the movie.”
