FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia Boost productivity in SMB's with New Apeos A3 Colour Multifunction Printer

Enhanced print and scan speeds now available for Australian customers

SYDNEY, 22 January 2024, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia is today announcing the availability of the Apeos C2450 S, a new compact A3 colour multifunction printer (MFP) that enhances business productivity for small businesses. Sales will begin from today for Australian customers. 

The lightest*1 A3 colour MFP in the Fujifilm Apeos series, the Apeos C2450 S is equipped with standard functions such as print, copy, scan and fax*2 and has improved printing, copying, sleep mode recovery and Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) scanning speed as compared to the previous model*3.

The Apeos C2450 S features an enhanced user interface (UI) with its new 7-inch colour touchscreen control panel, allowing users to customise display icons for easy operation. They can now register frequently used operations such printing and scanning to Pins*4. User can also preview, enlarge, and confirm the scanned image using the preview function on the UI. Moreover, users can print files and photos stored in the mobile device by downloading the Print Utility application*5 and sending the data to the device.

For added security, the printer is installed with the IC Card Reader*6 that supports user authentication. To prevent data leakage from the multifunction printer, the user is required to authenticate their digital identification using the IC Card on the IC Card Reader. Each department can control and monitor employee usage of the printer by presetting print guidelines. For example, by limiting the number of prints allowed and pre-setting print requirements for either colour or monochrome.

  • Private Charge Print and authentication by IC Card Reader*6 prevents data breaches
  • ID Card Scan feature enables scanning both sides of an ID card and save to a shared folder on the computer or to an FTP server
  • Simultaneously using the wired LAN and the wireless LAN. Users can print by connecting the visitor’s personal mobile devices directly to the printer via Wi-Fi network, without any connection to the office intranet environment.
