Fujifilm reinforces its presence in Italy structuring into two companies: FUJIFILM Healthcare Italia S.p.A. and FUJIFILM Italia S.p.A

The multinational Group consolidates in Italy its vocation to improve people's quality of life and to promote progress in the various fields of its activity and expertise

Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI). April 8th, 2024. Fujifilm announces the creation of a Healthcare-dedicated company in Italy, called “FUJIFILM Healthcare Italia S.p.A.”, which comes alongside the company “FUJIFILM Italia S.p.A.” that holds a diversified business portfolio in multiple sectors.

Through the past 14 years, Fujifilm in Italy has grown to a 200-million-euro company, attributed to every employee's effort, good teamwork, and sincere communication with customers.” said Kai Fukuzawa , Chairman of the Board of Directors of FUJIFILM Italia S.p.A. and FUJIFILM Healthcare Italia S.p.A. “I am proud of the leadership team, recognized by the top management of the Group as well as various stakeholders, who demonstrated Fujifilm’s commitment to the Italian communities and to our staff. Today, the evolution into two companies further strengthens our identity in the territory, empowering two interconnected realities each concentrated on its own areas of expertise.

 

The presence in Italy with two companies will contribute more significantly to the creation of value for the diverse users of Fujifilm products. Furthermore, it will allow to focus on multiple areas of action with greater operational flexibility and competitiveness on the reference markets. This is a strategic transformation aimed at vertically integrating professional talent, assets and investments to achieve long-term growth both in the Healthcare sector as well as in some B2B and B2C sectors, such as Digital Printing and Imaging Solutions.

In its 90-year history- continues Kai Fukuzawa -Fujifilm has always stood out for its transformative capacity, adapting and anticipating change. In the beginning of years 2000 the Group has overcome the rapid contraction of the photographic film market by diversifying the activities and giving top priority to technology, seizing new opportunities. FUJIFILM Healthcare Italia S.p.A., led by the Managing Director Davide Campari, pursues FUJIFILM Healthcare's global strategy in Italy. The company will enhance Fujifilm's presence in the Healthcare industry by delivering value to customers and patients with a unique solution ranging from Endoscopy, Medical Informatics, Ultrasound, IVD, X-ray modality, and CT/MR.

Able to respond to a very wide variety of medical needs thanks to its rich portfolio of advanced products as the digital mammography systems and to the use of the Artificial Intelligence, the Healthcare business area is a constantly growing reality. In the last decade, the turnover has more than doubled, and the newly formed company FUJIFILM Healthcare Italia S.p.A. aims to increase turnover by around 20% over the next 3 years.

FUJIFILM Italia S.p.A., is capable to respond to a very wide range of technological needs, handling the photographic and video world of 360, varied lineup of high precision lenses (for broadcast, cinema, security etc.), surveillance and security systems, reliable devices for data storage, printing systems (for packing, newspapers, fabrics, screen printing, etc.).
