Open Innovation Hub/Bridge for Innovation

NEW

The Open Innovation Hub is a place where you and FUJIFILM can interact to "co-create" new value through collaboration by combining state-of-the-art core technologies and ongoing development themes developed from the origin, which is photosensitive materials, by FUJIFILM with your challenges and ideas.

Open Innovation Hub

The Hub consists of five areas/zones, Introduction Area, Imagination Area, Touch Zone, Ideation Zone, and Concept Creation Area, and three FP-Z8000 projectors are installed in the Touch Zone.

A large screen installed in the Touch Zone of the Open Innovation Hub.

Three screens connected together create one large screen.

The Touch Zone was previously equipped with panel displays and LCD monitors, but following the renovation, projectors have been adopted for projection. Three FP-Z8000 projectors are ceiling-mounted and blended to create a seamless large wall screen measuring 11.9 meters wide by 2.4 meters high.

The combination of short throw lens and lens shift enables diagonal projection from the ceiling.

The three-projector setup allows for a large wide-screen display of opening videos upon entering, while these same projectors can be used independently when moving on to a discussion, with a PC presentation projected in the center and demo videos shown on the left and right. The ultra-short throw lens and wide-range lens shift function keep the projectors out of customers' line of sight, enabling natural display even in the limited space of the showroom.

Bridge for Innovation

Based on the concepts of "Vector" (finding a direction) and "Connect" (connecting customers to business success), this experience-based showroom leverages the comprehensive capabilities of FUJIFILM's business solutions to promote solutions to customers' challenges by connecting our R&D centers and domestic and overseas production sites according to their needs. Six FP-Z8000 projectors are installed for the spatial presentation of the walls and reception area of the showroom.

The walls on both sides of the showroom are effectively used for the spatial presentation.

The ultra-short throw lens and wide-range lens shift function enable installation in the limited space without being restricted by ceiling structures (such as air conditioners or ducts). By building the projector body into the ceiling and leaving only the lens exposed, a large-screen projection has been achieved without revealing the presence of the projector.

The lens shift function enables projection from a position shifted from the center of the screen.

Building the projector into the ceiling keeps it out of sight. This also reduces operating noise impact on the floor.
