REAL-WORLD SIMULATION DESIGN GUIDED BY ENDOSCOPISTS
Modelled on real-world guidance from endoscopists, the Upper Gastrointestinal mikoto Simulator provides a realistic and practical learning experience for endoscopists. Comprehensive training modes that incorporate the insights and expertise of endoscopy professionals are designed to support the mastering of basic endoscopy techniques for beginners.
BUILDING SKILLS THROUGH SELF-LEARNING
With realistic organ modelling and advanced navigation functions, the portable Upper Gastrointestinal mikoto Training Simulator enables self-learning through LED-guided observation, voice guidance, and real-time feedback. mikoto’s self-learning design allows endoscopists to build core gastroscopy skills independently. Following a step-by-step curriculum, mikoto’s ‘School-Mode’ covers basic insertion techniques through to advanced observation, supporting endoscopy trainees with professional guidance and a wide-range of expertise to manage simulated practical gastroscopy scenarios.
DIRECTING TRAINEES WITH LED-GUIDED OBSERVATION
An intuitive LED-guided observation feature directs the trainee on recommended scope movements and inspection patterns, helping endoscopists to develop an optimum observational process when treating patients. The Upper Gastrointestinal mikoto Training Simulator offers an opportunity to raise the quality of standardised endoscopy treatment with skills enhancement.
SIMULATING AN ENDOSCOPY TRAINING PROFESSIONAL
With a repeatable training process supported by voice and screen prompts, endoscopy trainees can repeat key manoeuvres as often as required, without the need for a dedicated expert supervisor. Skill levels can also be examined using multiple practice courses, providing realistic endoscopy data and scoring assessments to evaluate the endoscopist’s performance during simulated procedures.
