[Background]
In Vietnam, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including lifestyle-related conditions such as cancer and ischemic heart disease, have become the leading causes of death. *1 These diseases can be managed more effectively, with lower mortality rates and reduced risks of severe complications, through early detection followed by appropriate treatment and health guidance. While periodic health checkups for workers are mandatory in Vietnam, similar to the system in Japan, the actual uptake remains low at approximately 3.5%. *2 This creates a challenging situation where early detection of diseases is often difficult. *3
To address these healthcare challenges in Vietnam, FUJIFILM Corporation (Headquarters:Tokyo CEO:Teiichi Goto hereinafter " Fujifilm ") has been operating the " NURA " health checkup center - focusing on cancer screening - since July 2024, in collaboration with VJH and " T-Matsuoka Medical Center," which has long contributed to improving the quality of medical care in Vietnam. Together, they are building an environment to provide high-quality health screening services in the country. Furthermore, with the aim of establishing a "culture of health checkups" in Vietnam, Fujifilm is actively working to communicate the importance of these screenings to hospitals and companies in the surrounding regions.
MRT Global officially launched its medical human resources platform, "MRT HUB," in October 2025 through MRT Vietnam, which holds a license as a recruitment agency. *4 Additionally, since July 2025, in mutual cooperation with Vietnam’s largest private medical group, MRT Global has been conducting educational programs to enhance the knowledge and specialized skills of local physicians. Under this initiative, highly specialized doctors are selected and invited from the approximately 100,000 physician members of the MRT medical platform to serve as lecturers. These programs are delivered through online lectures and offline sessions at medical conferences held several times a year.
[Objectives]
The purpose of this MoC is to express the good faith and intention to cooperate between the Parties within the medical field. The goal is to build an "All-Japan" model in the medical field, integrating the specialized resources, technology and medical facilities of each company.
including:
[attempt]
(a)the professional second opinion and remote medical consultation services by Japanese medical teams;
(b)the referral of patients or clients requiring specialized medical services to medical facilities in Japan;

[About "NURA" Health Checkup Center]
Fujifilm launched its health checkup service business in emerging countries with the opening of "NURA" in Bengaluru, India, in 2021. Since then, NURA health screening centers, as well as those incorporating the expertise of NURA, have expanded beyond India to Mongolia, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, and Thailand. Going forward, new centers are planned for South Africa, the Philippines, and Malaysia. "NURA" leverages Fujifilm’s advanced medical equipment, such as CT and mammography systems, along with AI technology to support physician diagnosis, providing health screening services for cancer and lifestyle-related diseases. The service has been highly acclaimed by users, and as of April 2025, the total number of users has surpassed 100,000. Key features that have received positive feedback include the ability to complete all tests and physician feedback within a short duration of approximately 120 minutes, as well as the clear, easy-to-understand explanations provided by doctors while viewing diagnostic images. *3
