We adopted Fujifilm Group Employee Wellness Declaration in 2019 to ensure that our employees maintain good physical and mental health and retain their work incentive, we are accelerating our efforts to enhance employee wellness throughout the group. In January 2024, we established the Group Purpose “Giving our world more smiles,” and we have set “Health” as one of the priority areas for achieving this purpose, and we are working to promote Kenkokeiei®* (health and productivity management). In order to realize our group's purpose, we are accelerating our efforts to promote the health of our employees by focusing on five areas: lifestyle disease prevention, promoting anti-smoking awareness, cancer prevention and treatment, mental health prevention and treatment, and maintaining appropriate working hours, in order to foster a vibrant corporate culture and an environment where employees can work with peace of mind.
The promotion of management of a healthy workplace is being developed as an activity of the entire Fujifilm Group. For more information on the activities, please refer to the following.
The Fujifilm Group Seven Wellness-promoting Actions were introduced in 2020 and employees were called on to put all of them into practice, as it is important for employees to acquire a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent the occurrence and aggravation of problems such as lifestyle diseases, cancer, mental disorders and COVID-19 infection. We will regularly check the degree to which each of the Seven Wellness-promoting Actions is practiced in order to improve the health level of the entire Group.

FUJIFILM Holdings, including FUJIFILM Corporation and FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corporation, was listed on the Health and Productivity Stock Selection*1 for the fifth consecutive year by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. It evaluate companies that are actively promote maintenance and improvement of health. We also have been certified as Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization White 500 for the ninth consecutive year by METI and Nippon Kenko Kaigi*2.

As part of its health management initiatives, the Fujifilm Group is promoting “Arukatsu”, an activity that encourages employees and their families to add walking to their daily lives as a way to improve their health. We also host competitions in spring and fall that sets up teams compete for the highest average daily steps called, “Everyone Stepping.”

We are holding a photo contest in collaboration with the “Everyone Stepping” campaign. Photos taken during walking can be of any theme, such as scenery, family, or pets. The photos submitted are voted on by labor and management, and awards are given. In addition, all the photos are posted on the company portal site as a photo gallery, and this helps to stimulate communication among employees.

We hold a competition between each of our manufacturing divisions, using a point system based on the ratio of employee entries and the average number of steps taken. By communicating the progress and commitment of each manufacturing division head on a weekly basis, we have also been able to improve communication. We enjoyed “Arukatsu” as a team, competing for the trophy, prizes and honor.
