Sustainability

Fujifilm has long been dedicated to environmental responsibility in products, services, and corporate activities; while sharing knowledge and ideas with others for maintaining a green environment.

Fujifilm’s sensitivity and commitment to worldwide environmental concerns has made it a leader in conservation and recycling efforts. Fujifilm has long strived to both reduce and conserve product materials, and to design environmentally conscious products that can be reused or recycled by customers and the company. The following are recycling programs offered by Fujifilm:

One-Time-Use Cameras

Fujifilm has been conducting a successful recycling program for QuickSnap cameras since June 1990. Don’t think "disposable":

  • Call 1.888.676.3719
  • Pack cameras into a shipping box with Fujifilm’s account number on the shipping label.
  • Ship one-time-use cameras to:
    • FUJIFILM/Burton Center
      2605 Highway 72/221 E
      Greenwood, SC  29649

Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable Battery Recycling (Ni-Cd):

Rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries are recycled through the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC), a national non-profit public service organization designed to collect and recycle Ni-Cd batteries. FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. pays the RBRC a fee for all the batteries we put into commerce, which is indicated by a seal on the battery. To recycle the batteries call 1-800-8-BATTERY or visit the RBRC site at http://www.rbrc.org.

Here you can obtain information on the closest retailer, municipal recycler, or the address to mail the batteries.
