Fujifilm Unveils FUJIFILM ZUH6000 Projector

Combines high image quality and flexible image adjustment to create a valuable solution for immersive visual spaces

VALHALLA, N.Y., February 14, 2025 –FUJIFILM North America Corporation announces the development of the FUJIFILM ZUH6000 Projector (FP-ZUH6000), an ultra-short-throw projector capable of projecting 4K images and equipped with the industry's only folded two-axial rotatable lens[1]. Fujifilm showcased the FP-ZUH6000 in its booth at the Integrated Systems Europe 2025 event, recently held in Barcelona, Spain. FP-ZUH6000 is scheduled for release in the U.S. by summer 2025.

“More and more, projectors are used in the spatial design of museums, art galleries, entertainment destinations, commercial facilities, and other venues,” says John Walrath, Business Development Sales Manager, Optical Devices Division, FUJIFILM North America Corporation. “There is a rapidly growing need to create immersive spaces by bringing multiple projectors into a single space to project 360-degree images. With widespread adoption comes the need for higher image quality of the projected images, as well as flexibility in image adjustment. FP-ZUH6000 satisfies that need, flawlessly.”

FP-ZUH6000 joins the growing FUJIFILM Z-Projector lineup, which includes two Wide Ultra Extended Graphics Array (WUXGA) models: the 6000 lumens FP-Z6000 and the 8000 lumens FP-Z8000. Z-Projectors have a unique folding lens design – they are noted for their exceptional installation flexibility and impressive range of spatial effects.

Main features of FP-ZUH6000

Projecting high-definition 4K images with excellent color reproduction

・By evolving Fujifilm’s unique optical engine via the latest DLP® chip installed in the image processing unit, the FP-ZUH6000 achieves excellent color reproduction and smooth gradation expression. Compared to our current model[2], the FP-ZUH6000 is capable of approximately 1.5X better color reproduction, and in particular, red color reproduction has been improved by 2X compared to the current model.

Bright 6000 lumens images and a lightweight, compact design

・The lightweight (approx. 38 lbs/17.5kg) and compact design[3] contributes to reducing the burden of installation and transportation.

Folded two-axial rotatable lens

・The lens can be rotated 90 degrees around the mounting axis and 360 degrees around the lens axis. By allowing projection in various directions without repositioning the main unit, users can effortlessly display images on walls, screens, ceilings, and floors. Its flexible installation options enable users to select the best method for their specific environment, making it possible to utilize previously unused spaces and create a more dramatic atmosphere.

・Users can also conceal the projector body, leaving only the lens exposed, to create a more immersive space.

Lens shift function with a maximum[4] of 82% vertical and 35% horizontal shift

・ Equipped with a large-diameter aspherical lens, the new projector boasts a wide lens shift function of 82% vertically and 35% horizontally. This enables users to adjust the position of the projected image over a broad range without moving the projector or altering the direction of the lens. Additionally, the 1.1x optical zoom mechanism allows for easy adjustment of the image size. Combined with the lens shift function, this feature facilitates efficient image positioning.
