FXRpad2 3025 Flat Panel Detector

An advance in the capabilities of digital radiography.

The state-of-the-art FUJIFILM FXRpad2 3025 Flat Panel Detector (FPD) represents an advance in the capabilities of digital radiography.

This wireless cassette detector's lightweight and compact size makes it highly portable and easy to handle. It weighs only 1.8 kilograms (4 pounds) and is only 282 millimeters wide, 332 millimeters long and 15.5 millimeters high. The FXRpad2 also features an ergonomic and sturdy design, with an aluminum frame and a carbon-fiber entrance window.

This FPD's high-resolution images feature an unbeatable 100 μm pixel pitch, which is achieved while reducing X-ray exposure. The FXRpad2's images are presented using an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display that also includes helpful indicators for Wi-Fi signal strength, the local area network (LAN) and battery life. Image storage includes tagging for easier organization and retrieval of important data.

System integration is fast and easy with the FXRpad2's Automatic Exposure Detection, wireless access point mode and onboard corrections. The instrument offers other convenient capabilities, like a magnetic docking connector and a 4-by-4 binned quick preview image.

Applications

Digital radiography detectors like the FXRpad2 3025 are employed across an array of industries, with some of the most common ranging from aerospace and construction to oil and gas. While this device is suitable for many applications, some of its capabilities include:

Non-destructive testing (NDT): Flat panel detectors enable users to scan components and identify flaws without inflicting product damage. This non-destructive testing instrument is ideal for manufacturing applications that require a high level of quality control, such as aerospace product production.

Corrosion under insulation (CUI) detection: Digital radiography products can reliably detect corrosion under insulation in oil and gas, power generation and petrochemical industries. Inspecting facilities for this type of corrosion is essential to mitigating damage and preventing failures.

Metrology: With digital radiography detectors, you can produce high-quality images to assist with quality control processes in your manufacturing facility. These instruments ensure that all equipment is precisely calibrated and components meet your exact specifications.

Scientific applications: Researchers can use imaging systems to observe complex objects and structures in great detail while leveraging low energy levels. Flat panel detectors are suitable for applications involving both organic and inorganic materials.
