Request to Upgrade Controller Firmware for DocuPrint CP505 d/CP555 d and DocuPrint P505 d/P508 d

Dear Customer,
Please be advised that the Tap to Print feature does not work as per specification for the DocuPrint CP505 d, DocuPrint CP555 d, DocuPrint P505 d and DocuPrint P508 d, which have been on sale since May 7th, 2018.

Summary of Issue

Customers may note that after installation the following occurs:

Tap to Print feature is unavailable due to failure to launch of the Print Utility, even when holding the Android OS device which supports NFC to the DocuPrint product.
Tap to Print feature is unavailable due to failure to launch of the Google Play Store even when holding the Android OS device which supports NFC to the DocuPrint product.

How to Fix

Upgrading the device firmware will result in the Tap to Print feature working to specification.
